Teaching Method
Private lessons for 1–4 students study with one teacher, ensuring that each student can fulfill their needs in improving their English skills to take the TOEFL exam. The principle of this private tutoring service is first come, first served, according to the availability of the teacher.
Implementation of private lessons on days and times mutually agreed upon between the teacher and the students so that these courses are suitable for workers and professionals In general, private courses are held after office or campus hours, which are between 17.00 and 20.00 WIB.
Learning Program
1. Short Course Program
- The short course program consists of 5 meetings @ 90 menit
- First Meeting will be the pre-test and some discussion for the client’s needs.
- Second Meeting will be a very short explanation about tenses. It becomes basic to understand the logic of English.
- Third- Fifth Meeting will be the drilling of the specific skills that the clients need.
2. Extensive Course Program
- In addition to the short course program, the extensive course program consists of 10 meetings.
- First Meeting will be the pre-test and discuss the client’s needs.
- Second Meeting will be a general explanation of tenses. It becomes basic to understand the logic of English.
- Third and Fourth meetings will be the reading practice. It also gives the clients a chance to practice themselves. The tutor will also give tips and tricks on doing the test effectively and efficiently.
- Fifth, Sixth and Seventh meetings will be the structure and written expression. The clients can practice doing the structure and written expression test in TOEFL. The clients also will have a great chance to discuss the tips and tricks to do the test.
- Eight and Nine meetings will be the listening practice. In these meetings, the clients will practice answering questions based on the conversation they heard from the audio files.
