BIPA Teacher

Roslina Sawitri lulus dari Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dengan gelar magister pendidikan bahasa Inggris pada tahun 2012. Pernah belajar metodologi pengajaran bahasa Inggris di Hyogo University of Teacher Education di Jepang (2014-2016). Ketika menjadi Duta Bahasa Negara Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa Kemdikbud, ia menjadi postgraduate fellow untuk mengajarkan Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) di salah satu kampus Ivy League ternama, Yale University, di Amerika Serikat (2017). Ia bergabung di Universitas Katolik Parahyangan pada tahun 2018 sebagai dosen tamu Bahasa Inggris di jurusan Administrasi Publik.

Setahun kemudian, ia mulai mengajar BIPA bagi penerima beasiswa Darmasiswa dan KNB di UNPAR. Ia terlibat penulisan lima buku antologi tentang digital tools bersama komunitas Kelas Kreatif, pembicara seminar daring/workshop dan aktif memberikan kuliah umum di beberapa universitas di Indonesia pada masa pendidikan jarak jauh (PJJ) selama tahun 2020. Ia mengikuti Asia-Europe Foundation ClassNet School Collaboration 2020. Selain itu, ia berhasil menyelesaikan online course di Iowa State University yang dinominasikan oleh Kedutaan Besar Amerika Serikat untuk Indonesia.

BIPA and Korean Teacher

Frisca Ayu Desi Widyaningrum is a graduate of the English Language Education program at Sanata Dharma University and the Master of Linguistics program at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta. She has been actively working as a language instructor since 2016, teaching English, Indonesian, and Korean to students from various countries and under a range of different settings.

Frisca has seven years of experience teaching Indonesian to non-Indonesians and English to Indonesians, as well as four years of experience teaching Korean. Frisca was one of the instructors at the Language Institute of Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta, and has taught over one hundred Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) students from various countries, including Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, the United States, Italy, Germany, and others. In addition to private lessons and teaching small classes, she also has experience teaching larger groups of students under collaboration with institutions such as Darmasiswa, USINDO, ACICIS, and others. In 2017, Frisca participated in the Level 1 BIPA Teaching Training, and in 2018, she continued with the Level 2 BIPA Teaching Training organized by the Language Institute of Sanata Dharma University and the Association of Indonesian Language Teachers and Enthusiasts (APPBIPA). Furthermore, Frisca has taken the Indonesian Language Proficiency Test and achieved a proficiency ranking of Level II - Highly Proficient.

In 2015, Frisca began learning the Korean language and started teaching basic-level Korean in 2016. In 2021, she received a Korean Language Training scholarship from the Korea Foundation to attend Korean language training at Sogang University in Seoul for one year, from 2022 to 2023. She is currently working as a freelance teacher at UnPar+ and Ions International Education institutions. Additionally, she is also actively conducting both online and offline classes independently.
